Abstract: The rolling texture developments in commercially pure iron and deep drawing steel sheets were investigated by means of orientation distribution function (ODF) and quantitative fibre texture analysis. The stabilities of α and γ fibre as well as some orientation were discussed. The influences of rolling process and impurity atoms on the texture developments were also analysed.
